Sign-waving Tour de France spectator reportedly fined $1,350 for inflicting crash


A French girl whose clueless sign-waving triggered a crash on the Tour de France has been fined 1,200 euros, or about $1,357, in line with studies.

The girl, whose title has been withheld, “did something daft,” tour chief Christian Prudhomme stated, in line with the BBC. “She’s no terrorist.”

Racer Tony Martin went flying when he clipped her signal throughout the race’s first stage, main others to crash as nicely. The 30-year-old girl reportedly fled after the smashup.
