Boston man arrested for assault on 92-year-old at Quincy MBTA station

Police arrested a 49-year-old Boston man for allegedly assaulting a 92-year-old man at a Quincy MBTA station, in response to an announcement from transit police.

On Friday round 2:30 p.m., transit cops responded to the MBTA’s Quincy Center Station for a report of an assault.

Officers discovered a 92-year-old man bleeding from his head and a involved citizen trying to assist him, in response to the assertion.

Police mentioned witnesses identified a person, later recognized as Armando Hernandez, 49, of Boston, because the assailant.

Officers instantly sought out Hernandez and noticed “his inebriated state and his uncooperative disposition,” in response to the assertion.

The sufferer instructed police he was forcefully shoved from behind, then fell to the bottom and struck his head on the pavement.

According to police, the alleged assault was unprovoked and the sufferer has no familiarity with Hernandez.

Hernandez was arrested for assault and battery on an aged individual with accidents, authorities mentioned.

The sufferer was transported to an area space hospital for remedy, in response to the assertion.
